The Longhorns Organization is seeking athletic baseball players with a passion for learning. We have available positions on our development teams beginning at age 7 and are also looking for players with previous training and experience for our 10-14 year old teams. San Diego Longhorns 10U Arizona Spring Training Champs!!

The San Diego Longhorns 10U team traveled to Arizona for the Spring Training Triple Crown Chamionships March 16-18, 2012.  We were seeded number 4 after defeating the Sandlot Allstars in extra innings 4-3 and the Chino Hills Rays 3-0.

Tournament play began on Saturday and we defeated the Lil Yankees 8-0 in the 1/4 finals, the Inland Empire Elite Orange 10-2 in the semi-finals and finally, the Sandlot Allstars again 8-2 for the CHAMPIONSHIP!!  Way to go Horns!

9U San Diego Longhorns "Dual in December Champs"

The San Diego Longhorns 9U team battled through alot of games to win their first tournament as a young "horns" team. They showed alot of talent and the pitchers and hitters came alive in the championship game and played a great game.

10U Champions San Diego Longhorns, MLK Xtreme Diamond Sports

The San Diego Longhorns 10U team played in the MLK, Xtreme Diamond Sports Tournament Jan. 14-16. We were seeded #1 and took the chamionship by defeating the San Diego Stars 4-3. Way to go Horns! This tournament qualified us for the World Series tournament here in San Diego!!

Finalist 12U San Diego Longhorns Xmas Tournament

The San Diego Longhorns 12U team competed in a battle of elite baseball organizations over the Xmas holidays in the San Diego Blues Xmas tournament. The Horns seeded # 3 in the second day defeated the #1 sead Titans. The game was an epic battle of big bats, stellar pitching and gutty defense. Coach Hudgins called it one of the best games he has been involved with and the boys played with alot of intensity to shut down the Titans in the bottom of the 6th and win 8-7 allowing them to reach the finals of a very tough tournament. The team came togethe with alot of new players and played the Longhorns way (defense/pitching)- It was a tournament to remember being the last of the year and shows promise for the upcoming year. Congratulations to the boys, the organization and some of the best supporters/parents that we have in the organization. Way to go Horns!

The Longhorns organization came together to help those in need by purchasing a new package of socks, underwear and a toy. The Palomar Council heads up an adopt a family program and are in need socks and underwear. We will be delivering all items to the Palomar Council this weekend.

The San Diego Longhorns Baseball Club is a high quality baseball organization serving all of San Diego County. Through our program, we expose both the family and player to the proper approach to playing the game of baseball. We use practice drills, game situations, tournament play, and homework assignments to teach the necessary facets of the game. We attempt to give the players the skills they need to continue playing baseball competitively through high school, and potentially into college, if they choose.

Through our program, hopefully players will develop a strong character not just within baseball, but in other parts of their lives as well. Interested Players The San Diego Longhorns Baseball Program is interested in skilled players who want to compete at the highest Travel Ball level. If your player is 7-14 years old, we welcome you to contact us. We offer quality instruction on all aspects of baseball, concentrating on the technical fundamentals of the game.
