13u Black took home the Gold Championship at the annual USSSA Spring Training Event on March 26-27, 2022. 13u Black was dominant in this event, scoring 80 runs, while only giving up 22 on their way to a perfect 5-0 record. In the tournament final, 13u Black won going away 24-13, scoring 9 runs with 2 outs in the 6th inning.
While there were many worthy performances in this group, Cal Melendez was selected Team MVP.
